The Digital + box from UPC.

    Hi lads...

    My (Medion) digi HD recorder box has just gone wallop and so I'm looking at this yoke from UPC. I see it is 3.75 per mth.

    Anybody have it?, what do you think?. Do you know can you buy it outright from them and forget the monthly charge?.

    You can't buy equipment from UPC, you only ever rent and they retain ownership.

    Well they offered to sell a box to me when I was getting in an extra digi+ for the bedroom. No come back though if starts acting up, you have to pay for them to come out to fix etc.

    If you negotiate a deal, you can maybe get the + box and not pay a monthly fee :)
