ok so my husband has just come across a mass of model cars that he used to collect when he was a child. he has some limited edition ones according to their boxes so were looking for some info on value of cars or where woudl be best to sell them. any help is appreciated as I dont have room for all these and would like to see them go to someone who will enjoy them for what they are!

I've added a few photos so you know what i'm talking about. he has about another 10-12 cars in boxes too.

If you're in the Dublin area you could do worse than bring them along to the next Dublin Toy & Train Fair or The Toys of Yesterday Fair in Bray - details of both events here: http://collectireland.wordpress.com/fairs/

If you're selling them you could also try Adverts.ie or eBay.

They are by Bburago, an italian toy company. They are now made in China but the pictures you have were probably the italian made models. The 2 you have I have too, they came out in the mid 80s.....the wagon is by Maisto, from Thailand from around 2000 and can be still got in the shops. Prices vary but nothing spectular......proably €20-€30 euros or maybe less.....:)
