    Hey guys,

Applied for my C licence (rigid) Got my provisional in the post in January,

I now want to take lessons and apply for my full test, Looking at a lot of places online, I know its quite expensive but willing to take out a small loan to pay for it, Could someone point out to me the best place they've gone for lessons,

Money is an option but I don't mind paying it if it means I'm more likely to pass first time, I know its hard to answer but will I need the 10 hour lessons that most companies supply as a package? I'm an ex-courier and a very confident driver...

Any personal experiences or any help regarding this would be brilliant,

    Cheers...:)

I did one lesson a year ago at €160 for 2 hours. If you are a good driver, I figure you wouldnt need a whole lot of lessons.

Dont forget about the CPC as well on top of the lessons.

I used Colliers for my Artic and Bus and Churchtown for rigid. Had no issues with either.

The driver CPC isn't too much more when you consider how much lessons cost, as it's a few computer exams and an oral test at the vehicle.

I wouldn't be taking out a loan for HGV lessons, from what I've heard there's no money in it and there are loads of experienced drivers looking for work.
