Anyone here know when the new d7000 and d8000 models are being released in Ireland very interested in seeing these to see if the 3d has improved. Looking at the 46" atm.

I've heard the 3d is much better than last years lcds plus the 2d playback is supposed to be fantastic, hopefully the price will be decent so I can get it for 3d bluray playback and uncharted 3 in november

The reviews so far for the D8000 are excellent. The picture quailty in 3D and 2D has been improved on. And I thought the picture on the C8000 was superb. So I am looking forward to the new replacement TV.

Saw a demo of UE46D7000 in Harvey Norman - looks fantastic to my (uneducated) eyes. 2D great, 3D great (thought it might just be a gimmick but its not), has a full internet browser. There seems to be various external keyboard options. Sony seems to be closest but I think Samsung just beats them.

The cheapest UE46D7000 I could find is now available for around 1516 euros (*including 2 pairs of 3d glasses*) in Samsyerman (Belfast). They deliver to Dublin for 25 quid. I've no connection to Samsyerman. I just ordered one. Here's the link:
