    Hi Guys,

Looking for interest rate data for India over the last 10 years but particularly the last year due to 7 increases in the interest rate to curb inflation.

I have looked at the world bank, IMF, OECD, Eurostat and Reuters terminal with no luck. Only way I see is to pay but anyone with free alternatives would be of great help!

    Thanks in advance

Have you tried the Federal Reserve Bank of India?

Did you try the website of the Indian Central Bank www.rbi.org.in?

Tried both of them and no luck, no up to date info. The reserve is the central bank because if you type in the central it gives the domestic bank of india, something similar to what BOI used to be.

    Thanks though

The current repo rate is linked from the front page of the RBI site. It took less than 5 minutes to find rates going back to 2000.
