i've checked in online for my flight. i can't find an option to add priority boarding now. from reading the website it seems like i can only buy this at the airport at this point.

am i right or have i missed something?

    thanks

As far as I understand it that is the case. However its no problem to do it at the airport. As to why anyone would bother is another matter. I could never see the point TBH. If I'm on my own I will always wait till the end anyway. If I'm with family one of us will queue fairly early in the regular queue. I see no reason to pay to be one of the first 70 odd people to board a plane while futher lining ryanair's pockets.

Its a waste of money tbh. Get a decent place in the queue and hurry when you get on the tarmac.

You can pay on the platform. It's a bloody disgrace. You're all standing there in an orderly queue waiting to get on the plane and some little sh1t comes out with a roll of stickers, scabbing fivers of people and telling them to skip the queue.
The only people getting screwed are the people who refuse to participate in the racket.

Its a waste of money OP,

We were scammed coaxed into it last year going on hols, first onto the bus ect, but they let everyone else on the bus with us, as in non speedy boarding passengers. we stood right by the door then the bus stopped and opened the doors on the opposite side meaning we were last off, we complained to staff and we laughed at

OP it's a waste of money tbh at least half the queue will be on "priority boarding"

That was one of the sketches on come fly with me.

"would you like to buy priority boarding?"
"yes I would, do many people buy it?"
"oh yes sir, everybody has bought one"

    It's a con people.

You can book priority boarding on-line up to the point of printing your boarding card.
There are some flights where it can make sense to have priority boarding, returning flights from holiday destinations would be one.
The amount of people stopped for overweight bags always seems to be higher and consequently the queuing time can be a bit wearing.

with respect i don't want to debate the benefits or otherwise of p boarding. i've flown with ryanair enough at this stage and it generally suits my needs.

    thanks for the answers.
