Can anyone please tell me how to put a watermark on my pics (and how to get it off again!) - I don't have Photoshop...

    Thanks in advance.

make a copy of it first off, then use the text tool in any image editor to put your name or whatever on the copy. You'll still have the original with no watermark. The only way I know really is using PS and layers.

OK, thanks for that - I'll give it a go. :)

Try Fastone Photo Resizer. It's free to use.

I use VSO Image Resizer, would I be able to do it on there?

I've used TSR Watermark from http://www.watermark-image.com. It's free, and will do a batch job, i.e. all the images in a folder, and copy the output to another folder. Maybe worth a look.

Er, yeah - that's why I started this thread!

Seriously, yeah - someone used one of my pics and printed loads of copies of it, so I don't want it happening again. I'm fuming!

Really you don't take it off again you would downsize a copy for the web and put a watermark on the smaller version.

I use infraview for alot of batch stuff its free and works pretty well too.
