Donedeal and adverts.ie in my opinion.
You can search boards using google like this http://www.google.ie/search?hl=en&q=selling+my+car+site%3Aboards.ie
It'll show you earlier threads with more suggestions.
    Good luck :)

    Hi
Thanks for the info folks......which is the ideal month for buying a new car, is January the best in terms of deals/specials etc.

Someone told me that retailers have a sales year with targets to meet, and if they are short on targets they will do good promos or offer better deals approaching year end to pump the numbers. Is this baloney.....or is there an element of truth in it, and if so is there a better month for buying.

I advertised on cbg (25 view in 2 days) and donedeal (677views in 2 days). donedeal is €3 well spent imo. i am meeting a potential customer later today off donedeal and if he falls through I have to ring back another guy tonight who wants to view tomorrow, along with 6 other enquiries, all from donedeal.

    no audience though.

In terms of sheer visibility theres no beating the likes of donedeal, and arguably carsireland and carzone too.

Cars Ireland were great for a while but I think that's the first time I heard anyone mention them in about a year. When's the last time you saw someone put up a link to a car from Cars Ireland? Pity though because they looked liked good contenders.

good point actually. I used to use them but stopped a while back; i presumed others used them because (afair) they retained the carzone old layout (this may be another site im thinking of - perhaps driving.ie)

I would honestly say Donedeal is one of the best if not the best.I have a vehicle on DD at the mo and within about an hour, maybe less the phone is burning up with all the calls we are getting.Sorry mods, but adverts.ie is absolutely useless. Not as many people know about it.I have had a few vehicles on it in the past and I did not get as much as one reply.Put it on DD and wam bam thank you mam, I at least got a few calls.Carzone is mainly dealers and is too dear at 30 quid.Buy and sell might be OK, but still too dear I think.
