First heating of a new house

    Hi folks,
My OFCH has just been switched on in my new block build house. The plumber has told me to heat the house slowly over the next week or so and I'm just looking for opinions from yourselves. I have the TRV's set to 2 and the heating will come on for about 10 hours at different stages during the day. I was going to leave it like this for 2 days and then turn the TRV's to 3, leave 2 days and so on, while probably reducing the heating time by the time I get the TRV's to 5 or 6. What do you think, probably over the course of a week or so? Should this do the trick in terms of gradually bringing the house to living temp while avoiding cracks throughout?
    Thanks,
    Clint
