    Hi all. Sorry if this is in the wrong forum but I thought you may know best!
    The diamond had fallen out of my wifes engagement ring and I need it reset. Could anybody recommend a good real jewellers who could reset it for me please? I don't want to give it to Ernest Jones / Samuels who would just send it away (probably lose it!) and charge me €300 for the privilige

    Hi Mattb,
    One place that I know of is Austens Creations in the Powerscourt Townhouse Centre. I bought my wife a ring in Antwerp and needed to get it resized. I tried a few jewellers but none would do it because it was an antique ring. Anyway we tried Austens and met a really excellent jeweller. I cant remember his name but he really knew his stuff. He did a super job on the ring and didnt charge a fortune.
