It sometimes depends on how difficult the extraction might be so I would take the direction of your dentist.

I was knocked out when I had an surgical extraction 2 years ago and it was absolutely fine, so I would presonally prefer that method. If the dentist is leaving it up to you to decide the only question is whather you have an issue with GA. With that method you will obviously be unaware of the entire procedure.

got all 4 out at the same time under GA too. I'd say to be awake during it would be tough going for 4 wisdom teeth.

with GA you wake up and it's done! magic. ;)

Oral Surgeons remove wisdom teeth under sedation also. A fully participating surgeon will not charge you a top up.

I dont have a problem with a GA really was just wondering was it worth it/nesessary.. sometimes a GA can take alot out of you or so i heard.. if i get it done in a dentist il have to do more than one visit to him as he wont remove 4 of them at once :)

Get them done with an oral surgeon not a regular dentist. All four can be done in one go.
