    Hi

Can someone help, i spent alot of money on a new heating system, but its not working correctly.

I have 18 rads running off a arca pixel 25 condensing boiler , with large hot water cylinder with upstairs /downstairs zone control

    The problems:

    1. I find the boiler, when on is noisy and feels like its overloading or under immense pressure to work. doing big surges.

    2. My gas bill is very expensive since i got it.

    3. The flame does,nt light somtimes when when ignited by zone control, you can here a fan but no flame.

    4. The upstairs rads are now only heating the bottom 1/3 rd of the rads.

    5. We have a utility sink attached - using the instant hot water , it now has stopped heating

Does anybody know about this system. why so many problems.

I dont know who to blame , the equipment or the plumber . Plumber has left the country so no contact.

Get a heating engineer in who will check the entire system.
Is the boiler maintenance done ?

Ecopipe Ireland are the agents for Arca www.ecopipeirl.com. They also have a store recently opened up in Stillorgan, dont know if thats near you. You should call them and ask for someone who works with the boilers all the time.

I've had an Arca boiler for a year, and it's a disaster. Does everything in the OP. I've underfloor heating and have room stats at 20, but heat won't go up past 15 degrees. Have had plumber back 4 times, but he won't answer my calls now.

The manual is an atrociously bad translation - eg:
'Pressing the key + or with the symbol of the radiator you can define the temperatures of the heating and the symbol radiator begins to flash.
Pressing the same keys + and it is possible to vary thedefined temperature from a minimum of 30deg C arriving to maximum of 85deg C
When you reach the right temperatures to defiene, waith for about 3-4 secondses and automatically the display cam on stand by'
    Word for word.
I'm at the end of my tether and am seriously considering replacing it.
