What is the best way to heat a house... we do not have the room for geo thermal as our land is small....and we do not want to rely on turf/oil.... how good are solar pannels really in a house for 4-5 people. and does any one know about air to water heaters? thanks

Every place differs, no demand is the same. Get independant advise from a heating engineer, a civil engineer, an energy advisor.
And get all advises in writing and signed.
