Limerick tabletop RPG.

Looking through the threads, I see a good amount of people looking for tabletop games in Limerick. The Gathering is pretty much all Warhammer, GameSoc is a joke, so what's stopping us all getting together and having a weekly game? I'm no DM, at all, but if we pull together we can get a great game of D&D going. Any one out there still looking for a long haul campaign? Even new people, I'm definitely no expert. Don't let it fall by the way side, or make people travel all the way up to Dublin to get their fix, we can do it!

Sounds like a great idea, the only thing will be finding a date and time that suits the players and finding a venue.
Should be fairly straightforward.

I'd be curious to know if there was anything happening in the Limerick area too. Haven't played in something like 15 years. Used to be a big fan of Ars Magica, Mage and Warhammer fantasy role play.

This summer is probably not a runner either (expecting a baby!) but maybe in a few months?

Figured I'd mention there's a gaming convention called BroCon in July in Limerick. Not sure of the details but might be worth checking out.

has there been any news regarding the rpg game in limerick yet..

by the way not sure if you are aware or even interested but at present am looking at the possibility of starting up a larp group in limerick which could quite easily in coporate table top rpg games too
