Hi All,

There is a bit of a rumour doing the rounds that the Theory Test exam questions are increasing to 80 questions.

I can confirm that this is NOT true. The amount of questions asked during the exam remains at 40, which you need to answer 35 or more correct in order to pass.

If there are to be any changes to the amount of questions per exam the information will be relayed via www.theorytest.ie and presumably other media forums.

Somebody please start spreading this truth....:)

This has been going around for years. We see it on here from time to time. Thanks for posting though. There's nothing worse than people spreading false info around.

What may start these rumours is that every so often they increase the bank of possible questions. So the variety of questions increases but it remains at 40 questions asked.
