underfloor heating with old burner question

    HI i have got a underfloor heating system in the house that i living in.
    i am using oil burner to heating house .it new house but i did not build bought 1 and 2nd fixing done (2500 sq foot house)
    i spending abut 2500-3000 liters a year on this year
    i just wondering can i put in a system in other than the oil now or am i stuck with for lift , just with the price of oil going up i doing a bit of research on it .

    You can use any thermal source to heat a place, UFH or not.
    What you should do is to get independant advise on the energy supply of your structure. Not from someone who wants to sell you something.

    Usually the UFH is as new as the boiler, these systems aren't that long in use here in Ireland. So if your boiler is old your UFH is propably as well so.
    In the old times (slab-) insulation wasn't heard about, and only sporadically administered in amateur's manners.

    Has your boiler been serviced, is the distribution system adjusted, the chimney clean, controlls working...in short: is your heating system optimised?
    What type of boiler is installed, flow and return temperatures?
