Question about song used in At Close Range (1986)

Watching At Close Range at the minute and they use an instrumental of the Madonna song "Live to Tell",
there is a riff that starts 20 seconds into the song and we keep thinking that it was used in something other than At Close Range,
but can't seem to figure out what that was.

If anyone knows I'd be grateful.

    Cheers.

Are you sure you didn't just hear the song in another film? I remember it being used in an episode of Cold Case.

It's similar to the start of I don't like Mondays..

but I doubt that's it tbh

It is a bit 80s-generic-sounding, but when I think of it I hear Bill Frisell's cover version:

You are the type of what the age is searching for, and what it is afraid it has found. I am so glad that you have never done anything, never carved a statue, or painted a picture, or produced anything outside of yourself! Life has been your art. You have set yourself to music. Your days are your sonnets.

Probably was the song, but can't seem to find it being used in anything other than At Close Range and that episode of Cold Case.
