I know this question has been asked previously, but I am wondering about recent experience with this company: http://www.custompc.ie/

Are they a decent outfit or are they a mickey mouse setup?

Has anyone posting here actually purchased anything from them and what was your experience.

    Thanks

Hello this is Dave from CustomPC.ie

I will try to offer some information about ourselves . We are an Irish company setup in 2007 with the intention of supplying mid to high end gaming PCs to the enthusiast market in Ireland . Our head office is in Belfast with our service centre located in Naas , County Kildare . Our software and our servers are located in the United Kingdom . We ship parts orders direct from our Belfast Warehouse and most Custom PCs are built and shipped from our Naas warehouse. Support is provided for the Republic of Ireland through both email and telephone from our Naas offices . We have designed a website we hope is easy to use and offers the best experience for designing a PC online . Secondary to this we offer parts for sale through the site this is however secondary to our main business which is the supply of Custom designed PCs. Deliveries throughout Ireland and Northern Ireland is contracted to Fastway.ie who offer a 1-2 day service with online tracking available .

We also offer a 30 Day Collect & Return Swap Out Policy on All New PCs purchased for the first 30 days after delivery . All PCs come with a standard 2 Year warranty .We also have technicians available for onsite services in Dublin , Kildare , Kilkenny , Belfast & Clonmel ( South East ) .

Warranty for parts are generally handled with the manufacturers service agents direct ie Acer , Intel , Asus , Etc . Obviously if there is an issue that cant be sorted through the normal channels we can deal with this for our customers.

If you need to ask any further questions please email me at sales@custompc.ie with attention of Dave in the subject line .

    :pac: Dave

    Dave, thanks for that reply.

I posed the question as there are so many online sellers sometimes it can be hard to figure out the good from the bad until it's too late.

Previous customer experience and word of mouth is invaluable, I know this myself.

I have been checking out your website recently and hopefully will be placing an order soon.

Sorry to necro this thread, but people need to be informed a little more about the pricing structure on Custompc.ie

Custompc.ie charge very "premium" prices for their premium service. The prices are often extremely erratic ranging from standard price (equivalent to Komplett.ie, Dabs.ie, etc) up to 100% more.

Bottom line is too avoid is you want value.
