Prestige-Blops

I decided to prestige for the first time yesterday (Thanks:cool:), why?well I'm not too sure, think I wanted the the 1st prestige emblem & for the sound when ranking up (extremely comforting for some reason), but I don't think I will be doing it again. I miss my perk pro's & endless number of unlocked weapons but now must face doing it again.

What prestige are you on in blops & why?

I'm on prestige 5 and ended up getting all pro perks which were a hassle to get (tac mask I'm looking at you!). If I didn't have all the perks I'd have prestiged at least twice since then.

Prestige keeps the game fresh I find, and it's fun trying new guns out and new combos away from the usual AK47 Flak/SOH/Ninja combo

I prestige for the first time on Friday, i have been sitting on 50 for a long long time!

I only prestige as it was double XP, so i figured id climb a couple of levels quick enough, i only got to play it for a few hours over the weekend but i managed to get to a nice 31, i doubt il prestige again, but who knows. Im not a huge fan of prestige to be honest, hassle of losing all the weapons and perks etc.

Should hit 14th prestige tonight...i only prestige to keep the game fresh and every prestige i have fallen in love with a different gun or perk combination!

Try putting the sentry gun on your killstreak and tossing it to the enemy. Spot it with hacker then and try to take it out. The anti-aircraft just takes time.

I was on 3rd prestige for a good while there but decided to go up for the weekend. Almost through it now and then i'll have my extra class slot and decent symbol in 5th prestige. Gonna try for the perks again then even though, especially tactical mask and its bloody nova gas kills. Only really wanted hacker and soh pro this prestige.

2nd Prestige, level 48 I think? Will prestige the minute I have the ability to not waste time playing at level 50. I have to be unlocking something to feel like I am actually doing something!

I'm on first prestige level 50.. Didn't bother prestiging in the double xp.. Don't think I will again.. An the lads I play with know that I despise the mp5.. I know I could use the m16 but its just not the best assault rifle in the game.. It completely lacks the power that it had in Mw2. And I have too many pro perks to want to have to do it all again.. Even having to buy the stuff all over again is too annoying.. I'm happy with what I have an I'm gonna stick to it..

As far as I know Mw2 got patched yesterday so I'm gonna try that out for awhile.. Its a much better game, the hit detection is so much better.. And the host disadvantage in blops is a pain in the face.. Since I get host a lot.

I just Prestiged last night. I'm on Level 13 now.

I'm planning to go all the way to 15th Prestige. I just find there is more incentive to do well when I can rank up.

I'm on Prestige 4 but i hate the fact that all those XP points go to waste if your at level 50. So i do it almost straight away. :rolleyes:

On 4th. Keep on saying I won't again. Close to 5th now and know the minute I get to top of 50 I'll just prestige again.

4th - intend to prestige later on as I'm just about to hit top of level 50.

I get bored at the top and hate seeing my XP go to waste; I also see it as more of a test as a player, having to use different combos and not relying on the same thing all the time

Gonna go all the way if I have enough time, only play about 10-15 hours a week so not flying through the prestiges

12th Prestige. Dying to get gold camos!:D Id be bored if I never prestiged. If I didnt prestige Id try and improve my stats - KD/Accuracy/WinLoss etc and obviously get all perks pro. Prestige makes it a challenge and refreshes the game, gives you more custom classes and If you play it enough you will have gold guns by the next COD!:)

That's the main reason I prestige - on 8 at the moment and will prob stop at 10 - I think the playercard for 10 is the best..

I'm on 6th, mainly prestige to try force myself out of a rut, using same weapons, perks etc all the time.

I'm on 2nd prestige and at level 36. Will prestige again as i get bored of being at 50 and not seeing the points rank up.

stayed on 4th 50 for 2 days game time.. what a waste.

I just got up to my 15th prestige over the double XP weekend there, ya have to prestige to keep it interesting i think, the thought of all the experience going to waste. what i do is ive changed my primary weapons and perks every prestige to experience everything the game has to offer, and different killstreaks. There's no "real" rewards for prestiging (except gold gun camo and colored clan tags) but having the 15th prestige emblem beside my name when i play online is sweet.

the gold gun camo costs 50,000 cod points to buy! which was disappointing for me because i couldnt afford it on my 14th prestige, may wait to save up for it seeing as i cant prestige again!

13th prestige, 40th rank(?). 8 and half days played.

As said before. Played a lot of TDM for the first couple of prestiges.. Play a lot of Sabo which end in under a minute or two usually as well. Only really started playing Dom from 6th or 7th prestige and that's helped greatly obviously as it's the easiest game mode

I'll stop at 14th prestige for the simple fact I like the prestige emblem more so than the 15th emblem(and background) :pac:

7 days played and never prestiged as I had no interest. The game is boring the tits off me though so I will tonight.
