Annual registrations per county

I know there was a thread on this a while ago but I've tried searching and can't find it. How do you find out how many cars where registered in each county annually?

I'm looking at cars and want to know if it's an import before I view it. I've tried googling but have had no luck. I could do a cartell/motorcheck but I don't fancy spending money till I'm actually going to buy it and they don't tell you if it's an import without paying.

In a normal year it was around 80k for Dublin, 20k for Cork and 10k for Kildare, anything around these figures is likely an import. Bear in mind that someone can purchase pre reserved numbers that were previously unsold, usually first 500 in the old days were reserved so the VLC is only true way to tell.

Unfortunately I'm looking around the 00-02 time frame and they where crazy times for car sales.

In Dublin 2000 went to early 100k and 2001 went to early 90k.

Thanks to Paddy001 I've worked it out. I'm still looking, just want to see if sellers are honest before travelling.
