    Hola boardsies!

Me and a few of my mates jam together in a friends garage, and we're in need of buying a decent enough microphone and PA system. We've never bought one before, so I'm just looking for advice on where the best place to buy would be and how much it's going to cost etc.
It's a small enough garage. We have a drum kit, guitar with 100w amp, and bass with 100w amp. Hopefully that should give you enough information as to what kind of quality/power we're looking for!

    Cheers!

Hey my band use the same equipment and we practice using a Sennheiser-E815S-J through a 15w amp, just don't have your 100w amps turned up all the way, but this works for us. Hope it helps and saves you money.

had a 100 watt peavey pa amp and speakers for messing about in bands years ago - couldn't fault the set up - nice and basic, quick to set up - 4 inputs bass an treble on each and plenty decent quality sound! (no good if you want to go miking up individual drums now or anything like that but I doubt you will.)

As for microphones, I'd always recommend a shure sm58 for anything live - even if its just jamming /practising - great mic and great value
