RDF recruitment 2011 ???

Hey could anyone tell me if there will be any recruitment this year ?

also I handed in all my paperwork to be vetted last year will I still be cleared or will I have to start the process again ?

what unit did you hand it into? did you receive notification that your garda background check had been returned to that unit? as far as i know your paperwork "should" all still be ready waiting to go, the background check im not sure about.

62nd transport , the Lt said they were sent off iirc but i have heard anything back since leaving

have you contacted them at all since? if you have a phone number for the transport depot, give them a call, they have cadre (PDF) full time working there who can check all of this out for you.

Failing that, Join the infantry, see the world (from the back of the truck) 65th

As far as I know, they are only recruiting people who where already in the system, so if you are in the system then you will probably get recruited if they have allocated spaces

Call the sub-unit you submitted you details to, they'll advise you as to what stage your application is.

right so that was two weeks ago , should i fcuk it , stop waiting around to be contacted and just forget about it ?

I handed in all my paper work in late September. Was told would be contacted in the new year. Like yourself I haven't been contacted

Best thing to do is wait it out until you get a call, your in the system and will get in eventually, all we need is some patience(which escapes many of us

).

and again until the unit get off their butts and have a reply / answer for you. if nothing your persistence shows you are serious about joining.

yeah will do but i dont want to sound too needy , maybe ill text them and just blame it on a friend to strike up conversation
