    Hi there
i'm looking to buy a new driver and a few new golf balls.
What's everyone's verdicts on value for money in the golf stores in Dublin.

I work pretty near to Halpenny golf on Grafton st - it seems pretty good value but obviously lacks practice facilities. Also it charges €42 for 12 ProV 1's - what's everyone's verdict on this shop??

    cheers guys

I've always found Halpennys and McGuirks in Swords to be well able to reduce prices and have always been 100% fine if it came to returns or faulty goods. Halpennys if pushed though.
    42 quid for 12 pro v1s is nuts .
I play the white box "practice" balls which are just as good and are only 20 quid if you can get them for that.

    Yours in golf,
    GSH.

Golf equipment in Ireland is pretty good value by international standards. I used to buy stuff on t'internet from UK retailers - however Halpenny, McGuirks, Nevada etc. are just as cheap now and you get to try them out in store.
