Best Nightclub In Athlone

There is a few of heading to athlone in a couple of weeks,Can you please advise us which is the best nightclub to go to??

There's Karma and Q. Karma's is 21's except for thursdays,but probably the best nightclub. Q's 18's but it's not open on fridays. Both very modern and nice. If you're over 21 Karma all the way. There's also Coppers aswell which is 21's, it's only a late bar though and can be rough enough sometimes.

Coppers is not rough, I drink in it regularly. Best craic on a Friday and Sunday night, and also good on a Saturday night.
Depends on age profile of the group really.

I prefer karma as there is a better mix imo

Q - better looking club but some nights can be too full of teens/early 20 somethings.

Coppers late bar...I think it's gone down hill a lot since it first opened. It's still ok but i try to avoid it.

Better to stay in one of the pubs around the castle till late and then head over to karma

Karma is the best out of a bad bunch. Q..... too young.

Coppers not rough whatsoever. But music not great! If you're with a crowd, good craic to be had!

Ive gone there twice in the last 18 months.

Pre teens and pre teen behaviour there.

Karma is not a bad spot on a saturday night

Going to Athlone in Feb for a hen Party. What nightclubs are still opened? Is there the Q, club viva and karma?

Club Viva and Karma are open.

Q is now Club Viva.

I'd be inclined to go to Karma myself, seems to be a bit of an older crowd than Q.

The Piano bar is beside Club Viva (part of the same company) which is good for drinks before a nightclub.

Out of Viva and Karma you should definitely try Karma, it's the only club I go to in Athlone anymore. Only go to Viva if you want to feel old.

Coppers is closed. the Piano Bar is a very good late night bar, next door to Viva. Seans as well is always packed.

Last time I was in viva they did offers on cocktails. Not sure about karma.

Ya Karma do them, have a small cocktail bar to the back of the club when the curtain is puled across.
