Liam Gallagher tells Radiohead to 'go **** yourselves'

Beady Eye man berates Thom Yorke and co

Liam Gallagher has laid into Radiohead for writing music "about a ****ing tree" on their new album 'The King Of Limbs'.

The ex-Oasis man, currently fronting Beady Eye, berated the Oxford five-piece when asked about his musical influences in an interview with Thequietus.com.

He referenced Radiohead's recent shock-release of 'The King Of Limbs', the name of which derives from a 1,000 year old tree in Wiltshire.

"I heard that ****ing Radiohead record and I just go, 'What?!'" he said. "I like to think that what we do, we do ****ing well. Them writing a song about a ****ing tree? Give me a ****ing break! A thousand year old tree? Go **** yourself!"

Speaking of Radiohead frontman Thom Yorke's decision to take influence from the tree in question, Gallagher added: "You'd have thought he'd have written a song about a modern tree or one that was planted last week. You know what I mean?

Is this to take a pop at a band because you feel so angry that not everyone loves Oasis/Beady Eye or is it to show that Liam Gallagher is a complete spanner? Because it's really working in the latter way for me…

Its quite funny, coming from a man who wrote Little James and tried to rhyme plasticine with trampoline.

    Songbird was good though.
