I have a foot rest that is getting a little grubby from me eh....resting my feet on it. It's part of a suite of furniture so I would like to get a cover for it just to save it from any more damage.

Where would I get such a thing, I have searched the web and am coming up blank. Any help greatly appreciated.

Would you not just go to Hickeys and buy a nice piece of fabric? Then you could tack it on yourself. Youtube has lots of 'how-to' clips http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z3obk38U8DI (there are lots more clips down the right-hand side).

Hi Dizzy and thanks for the response. As a typical middle aged Irish man, the fact that I am even looking for a foot rest cover is troubling enough to me......but I draw the line at sewing :D

Will you do it for me? I'll pay ya:)

Ah then I think you'd better to bring it to an upholsterer. Lol, no money would pay me for that kind of sewing if it was required. I thought if it was a simple enough job that you could stretch the fabric or a suitably sized cushion cover over the edge and hammer some tacks in underneath.
