    Hi everybody
    here
    http://www.dvbtmap.eu
you can find a useful map of many transmitters around Europe.
In last days, we added main transmitters in the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland, now we are trying to prepare the GB database.
You can find the location of transmitter, make a terrain profile, distance to the location of receiving, etc...
any feedback you can post to the creator's Jiří Procházka email, which is on the left side of the screen.

    Enjoy!

    David

Are just the main high powered sites being added in Northern Ireland. I take it by you're preparing the GB database you will include the transposers.

thanks very much for these tips! I will use them and add other transmitters, including relays. Later will also add multiplexes and their TV stations.

yes, there should be all DVB-T transmitters in the near future, including transposers/relays, both in the ROI and UK (GB & NI)

this is what the national flag of Ireland SHOULD look like on your website
    ei-lgflag.gif

NOT like this one below which you have used for Ireland ( this is the national flag of Iran) -

    ir-lgflag.gif

While the website does some quite complex stuff it's best to get the simple things correct first :)

Thanks, I will fix it. There are some transmitters on the border od Counties, as the borders are usually on top of mountains and there are also TV transmitters :-) So I wasn't sure where it is.

In continental Europe there are also few transmitters right on the border of different states/countries and they broadcast for both of them, sometimes for three countries!

UKFREE.tv has all the data you neeed but you should ask for permission...they have no european equivalent so permission could reciprocate and of course they want to know about potential interference and lifts so they need Irish and French transmitter data to get the picture.

Watty owns techtir and referred you to it.

Ireland country code IE language codes ga and en

    1/4 own

    Gang of Four :)

But all the coverage maps are RTE's

The list of transmitters was "assembled" and was confirmed by RTE publications about two weeks ago. Locations can be wrong. Though I think I finally have the counties correct!

The Cork / Kerry border is alleged by an RTENL friend to run through the main transmitter building of Mullaghanish (Cork).

Woodcock is frequently referred to as Limerick, but it's 100% well inside Co. Clare.
