    hey people! :)

    im in a band and we have just lost our rythm guitarist so we are now a 3 piece. we ar trying to pick songs that would be suitable to be played by a three piece and that everyone would know, and would get the crowd goin :D ny song suggestions? :)

    it depends on the crowd and the type of band you are but in general if you can sing and play the song well and its put together in the best way you can do any song at all i use to be in a 3 peice band for 6 years and over that period we played the Saw Doctors, Metalica, The Beatle, Rage Against The Machine, The Pogues, Green Day, Kings Of leon, Queen ect ect so aslong as you put the songs together right you should be fine

    tnx 4 advice :) we ar a rock teen band, there is a singer/guitarist, bassist and drummer in the band :P

    Im guessing if the singer plays the only remaining guitar you would want to be looking at songs that are more rythmn driven but it all depends on things like effects used, what the singer can play and sing at the same time etc. Id say just listen to the songs closely and you will know quick enough if the lack of a 2nd guitar will leave gaps that cant be filled and will stand out. Also get the remaining guitarist to beef up his sound a bit if needs be and that will fill alot of holes.
