I started a thread a few weeks ago about the best TNA ppvs and got some great recommendations.

Just wondering what people think are the best Ring of Honour shows.

I haven't watched any ROH before so any recommendations are welcome.

    Thanks

    In no particular order

    Supercard Of Honour 1,2 & 3
    FYF Liverpool
    FYF Finale
    Unified
    Dragongate challenge II
    Fight Of The Century
    A New Level
    Man Up
    Final Battle 05, 07
    7th Birthday show
    All Star Extravaganza 1 & 2
    Better Than Our Best
    Northern Navigation
Glory By Honour 2006 night 2

That is just off the top of my head. Majority of those are between 06 and 08. I would imagine there are some glaring ommisions there as well. I have seen very little since mid 08. Wore myself out and was not a huge fan of the new Adam Pearse regime.

Instead of a long list that will see some stuff lost in the crowd, I'll give my 2 favourites.

    1: Better Than Our Best
    The matches are :

Jack Evans vs. Ace Steel vs. Matt Sydal vs. Jake Crist vs. Dave Christ vs. Jimmy Jacobs (Six Man Mayhem)
    Ricky Reyes vs. Delirious
Jimmy Rave, Alex Shelley, & Masato Yoshino vs. Dragon Kid, Genki Horiguchi, & Ryo Saito
AJ Styles vs. Samoa Joe vs. Christopher Daniels vs. Jimmy Yang (Four Corner Survival)
Austin Aries & Roderick Strong vs. CIMA & Naruki Doi (ROH Tag Team Title Match)
Bryan Danielson vs. Lance Storm (ROH World Title Match)
Homicide vs. Colt Cabana (Chicago Street Fight)

A great show where every match is fantastic. Lance Storm v Danielson is awesome.

2: My second favourite: Man Up!

Matches on the DVD are as follows:

    Pay Per View Matches

Four Corner Survival Match: Chris Hero vs. Naomichi Marafuji vs. Nigel McGuinness vs. Claudio Castagnoli
    Rocky Romero vs. Matt Cross
    Davey Richards vs. Austin Aries
    Roderick Strong vs. Erick Stevens
ROH World Title Match: Takeshi Morishima vs. Bryan Danielson
ROH World Tag Team Title Ladder Match: The Briscoe Brothers vs. Kevin Steen & El Generico

    Bonus Matches

    Matt Sydal vs. Delirious
    Tyler Black vs. Jack Evans
BJ Whitmer & Brent Albright vs. Chasyn Rance & Kenny King
Amazing Kong & Daizee Haze vs. Lacey & Sara Del Ray
Top of the Class Trophy match: Mitch Franklin vs. Alex Payne

The best match there is the Ladder match main event, fantastic!

    Great match, sub par show.

Re Man Up, it is probably the best ladder match that ever happened. The aftermath is awesome as well.

Watch the Anniversery run of shows that culminates in the Liverpool double header with Joe's last match. Ridiculous standard throughout.

Well the mile stone series with CZW/ROH feud has to go down as some of the best stuff.

    6th/7th anniversary show.
    supercard of honor 2/3.

Any of the P.P.V shows (Man up, Respect is earned, Take no Prisoners)
From the 2009 stuff "A cut above" ( really just for the Strong/Lynn match)
End of Age. Tag title Classic again just for the main event.
The final countdown tour is mostly good.

Venedetta again for the main event Dragon Vs. Strong.
Testing the limit for the cracking Austin Aries Vs. Dragon.
Battle of St. Paul is one of the better B-shows.
    The shows in England.

Loads more that just what came to me off top of my head.

Better Than Our Best, Unified, Manhaten Mayhem, Man Up, Death Before Dishonor IV, FYF: Liverpool, FYF: Finale, Good Times Great Memories, Glory by Honor V night 2, Final Battle 2005. Those 10 shows are untouchable in my books. Keep your eyes on ringside for the Liverpool shows for that twat with the dreads, I dunno what I was thinking in those days :p

Joe vs. Kobashi is a stunning, stunning main event but such a disapointing undercard. Don't think I have watch the whole thing more than once.
