Given that we now will have a new government actually in their offices soon, anyone know what the current timeline is that we might see them there?
Any news yet of when the Dail will resume, when its first day will be?

Wednesday 9th is the first day of the new Dáil.

Business on that day is usually just convening the house and holding a vote for the new Taoiseach along with plenty of posturing, rhetoric and photo ops.

Chances are the new cabinet will be announced before the weekend, but I've never actually see a Government do any work before, so I don't know when that will start.

As far as I am aware, the cabinet will be formed Wednesday.

    Thanks for both answers.
They are probably making the most of their break before the hard stuff comes.
    Calm before the storm.

I think tradition is that the first cabinet meeting takes place in the Aras after the president appoints the Taoiseach!
