    very simple question here that im sure has been asked many times....bought an ipad today so it should arrive this week, i have a hp photosmart printer....can i print from the ipad like a normal computer?

    You can aslong as it is an AirPrint compatible printer. I have a Photosmart plus b210 and printing from the iPad and iPhone works perfect!

    i have a c6380, cant find a proper list anywhere of whats compatible. my one has wireless printing though so it should work...right?

    I have a C4380 also wifi but didn't work with Airprint, but last week I downloaded from Cydia Truprint and does work but is a paid app and need to have the Ipad/Iphone jailbroken.

    No, it isn't. Simply google and download the AirPrint Hactivator for your flavour of PC, then as long as your printer is networked, away you go.

    Not at all. You run the software on your Mac/PC -this enables airprint. You run nothing on the iPad. All you have to do is make sure that the printer is shared on the network.

    You can print to wi-fi HP printers directly, without AirPrint. It does a few other things too.
