    Lads,
Can anyone tell me what the NARGC county boards are charging for poults bought through them this year?

I know it's €2 per bird (12 weeks) in Galway just wondering is this the same around the country as I know the grant per bird increased by €1 to €3.50 this year.

We are getting them through Mayo RGC for €1 each this year in june afaik. From what I remember with my conversation with the county treasurer there is some govt subsidy for poults which means we are getting a €3.50 per bird subsidy. I can find out for you for def if you want!

The subsidy was raised form 2.50 per birds to 3.50 per bird, after a motion form Wicklow RGC at the NARGC AGM. The way the scheme works is that NARGC get a list of the amound of pheasants each RGC's affiliated club will be purchasing and they give a limited amound of funds for distribution to each club applying in each RGC. In WIcklow you cna purchase you poults hwerever you like and as long as you hand in receipts you qualify for the grant, normally up to a limit fo 100 birds.
