I'd say it's possible to replace the existing one alright like the photo below:

You might get a more accurate answer on the Skoda forum though: => http://briskoda.net/forums/

Just be careful. I think the Superb got a facelift around 2005/2006 where the centre console was given a make over. Single din stereo was replaced by a double din unit.

    Double din head unit:

You can get the MP3 Version for around 160 Euro directly from the manufacturer of the Radio in the Czech republic.

I think you just remove the drawer underneath the stereo to fit one this size. Could be wrong though.

€160 seems like alot of wedge for an MP3 reading unit these days. Decent aftermarket head units with bluetooth and usb interfaces can be bought for under €100 these days. Ok they don't blend into the dashboard as well but I'd get over that. Plus you can take it out and use it again when you sell on the car.

I agree. I personally got a MKi9200 that works a treat, but if you really want that MP3 CD player, then this is most likely the only realistic option to get this specific stereo.
