LPG V Oil for UFH

Currently looking into the heating system for a new build. Architect has proposed that we look into using LPG for the UFH instead of Oil. Im reading alot of conflicting information saying that LGP is much more expensive than Oil.

The initial costs to install seem more expensive but LPG is possibly more efficient as it can be modulated.

Has anyone any experience or can they give any advice.

All modern boilers can modulate their output.
Check the SEI home page for the "fuel price comparrison" chart, there you'll find prices per kWh.
If you buy the LPG on the free market the price per kWh is about the same as for home heating oil.

All gas condensing boilers modulate, some better than others check there ratios. Domestic oil boilers dont modulate but there burners settings can be changed manually to bring there output down. Either way with underfloor heating your fuel bills will be low if it's installed correctly. I can only imagin oil going through the roof with the way things are going in the middle east.
