Straight forward question: Who are the Irish Democratic Party? Here
Came across their website while doing research for listing alternative groups/parties out there.
Just wondering if anyone has heard of them before and if they are just others trying to do a makeover - or are they a genuine new group?

Lad I used to work with founded them. Centrist party with some fairly unoriginal politics, never got it off the ground in time for the election, no idea if he intends to continue with it.

Any updates on this? I had a look through the policies and there don't seem to be any specifics. Can't say I'm much gone on the colour scheme though.

Edit: oops nvm just saw the other thread...

...And I do not place my trust and faith into anything lightly I can assure you.
    I did my homework first.

Looks interesting, great to see them having a teacher involved in a leading party role, not enough teachers involved in Irish politics............:pac:

Back on topic, Any chance we could have question and answer thread with a rep from the party when we get a read of the policy document? You might as well make it official Biggins:D

    A good suggestion.
I shall put that forward to those above me in the IDP, in the morning.
