Keyboard Problem

    Hi guys
    Constanly having a problem with my laptops keyboard. when i type after every couple of words the cursor jumps back somewhere into the middle of the sentece i am typing. I dont hit anything to make it do this. I just cant figure out whats happning!

    Have a look at control panel keyboard, and device manager keyboard, maybe you need to reinstall the keyboard driver, Use a usb keyboard, or start,programs acessorys, acessability, click,onscreen keyboard, its a virtual keyboard.Use this for the moment,until you fix the problem.what model is your laptop,eg dell 720.

    Assuming your laptop has a touchpad (and maybe a tracker nipple),
    download & install the latest drivers for the that touchpad.
    You'll get on the site for your laptop, Dell/HP, etc.
    also Microsfot usually have generic drivers for this as well.

    I found on Dell Latitude E6400 users were hidding the blue nipple yoke owithin the keyboard, removing the top of this worked !!

    If you need any more help with it, please tell us your laptop details, Make Model etc, inluding your OS version.
    You can PM the serial number if you wish aswell. :-)

    hey guys thank you for your replies. While waiting i came across a programme that freezesthe touchpad while you type and this seems to have solved it completely. Im happy out typing away here with no hassle for the first time in weeks.
