V70 2.5D Engine wanted

    Looking for an engine for my V70 as the title says. It's a 2000 car first of the new shape. I believe it has the same engine as the earlier 850 model. I'll get the engine code when I get home. Anyone know where I might pick one of these up cheers

    just off the phone to them and they dont have any V70's at the moment.

    He told me to ignore the website as its never updated:(

    That engine was a VAG unit that was also fitted in the Audi 100/A6, although I highly doubt you will find one of them in a scrapyard over here.

    These guys in the UK are quite well regarded by the Volvo community, so it might be worth giving them a try: http://www.salvogroup.co.uk/

    For a place that claims to be one of the biggest breakers around, they rarely seem to have anything in stock.
