iPad 2 camera

    I read last night and the rear facing camera for the iPad 2 will be a 0.7MP camera....can a camera with such a low res shoot HD video as Apple are advertising? I expected much better tbh.

    I know that the front facing one is VGA (which is pretty crap in this day and age)

    You've answered your own question there.

    1024 x 768p = 786432 pixels = 0.78 megapixels!

    TV screen's only look so good because you are sitting far away from them. Makes you look in awe at the specs on the iPhone screen of 3.5 inches!

    OK - Thanks dude. Didn't realise I had :)

    Still would've expected more in both cameras though

    The cameras are good enough for FaceTime, which is all they are really likely to be used for.
