Facebook Notifications Problem

    I bought an Iphone 3GS from the states on Ebay before Xmas, its unlocked and jailbroken, i have all the settings turned on to receive a message if i get something posted on FB, but never got any, when i was in the states at Xmas i had a American sim in the phone (T Mobile) and did receive a few notifications, but nothing since i came back to Ireland.
    Anyone have any ideas?

    Facebook notifications are rubbish and don't work properly. I've all the notifications turned on but only get notified of requests. Never get any notifications for new messages.

    Try Push doctor

    As you phone is hackivated the certs will be invalid, this with replace certs on your iPhone with valid ones from apple.

    FB notifications should start to work, but arnt the best as jester77 says.

    Nice one. That's some little fix. My notifications all stopped working when I jailbroke my phone.

    Cheers, will try that. Was thinking the jailbreaking would have something to do with it.

    My iPhone is not jailbroken and i find fb notifications very poor. Very sporadic and unreliable.

    The Push Doctor has seems to have worked, i am getting FB notifications today on my Iphone.
