DABS.ie problem

    I ordered a NAS (frm a bargain alert) from dabs.ie a couple of weeks ago and as an afterthought, I ordered a 2TB HDD a few days later. The orders both went 'complete' on the website on 25th Feb and the NAS arrived last Wednesday after a failed attempt to deliver on Monday. The HDD has not arrived and I am getting no replies to any mails sent.

    I think that they may have 'updated' their system over the weekend of 26th/27th of February as my orders could not be viewed until I 'moved' my order to their new system. I did this last Friday as a last resort to see if I could get any more information that way. Both orders are now showing as being 'Your items have been dispatched and are on their way to you'. Considering that I received the NAS 5 days ago, I do not have much faith in that assertion.

    I never received any notifications that the order was being sent or any tracking information but they managed to charge my card correctly.

    In the absence of any answers from this company, what are my options?

    I ordered the same NAS on the same date. Around the time of you posting this thread they canceled it for no reason.

    I then ordered again the same product and now they have charged my card and have not delivered the goods.

    They have no phone number, they don't respond to e-mails unless I resort to snail mail it just looks like I'm down €450.

    The only real option I have now is to charge back the transaction with my credit card issuer.

    I'd seriously recommend finding another site to use...

    So I sent an email to dabs and they basically washed there hands of it, they said it was collected and can be tracked, gave me the number which I had( shows it last being in the local hub in the uk) and a phone number to contact parcel force(oh they game me the wrong number)

    I am now using Visa to get my money back
