HI, I was wondering has anyone ever participated in Challenge Barcelona & if so where is the best place to stay. Is Calella and Mareseme the same place. Where should we stay.

Have you registered tripledaz? I've tried a couple of times but the site payment system keeps failing. Any info or help gratefully appreciated. Cheers.

Thanks for the reply. I could not sign up either, I sent them an e mail last week but no response. I went ahead and booked flights and booked bikes on (keeping in mind the planes only allow 6 bikes booked on per flight) so this may be a bigger issue if bikes not booked in early. Im hopin they will have the site engine fixed soon and we can book in then. Im not too worried about booking on yet, as it s early still.

hey, did the race the first year it was on a couple of years ago.
We stayed at the Miami Park hotel at this address CL MONTURIOL 34.
It was basic self catering accommodation with its own small kitchen area in a small living area. Plenty of room for bike box and kit etc.
It was also less than 500 metres away from Transition / Finish line etc.

Not sure if it was the best place to stay but for me it was fine. Most of the town of Calella is close to the race expo, start / finish line etc so you wont go far wrong.

Lots of nice bakeries and deli's about the town as well to help finish off the season ;)
