    Hi Guys,

Was wondering what would be the best way to re paint / spray break calipers.

FYI - Car is Honda Civic 1.5.

Remove the calipers, clean/degrease them. Remove the sliders etc and when painting them make sure you don't get any paint on the piston seals or slider seals as well as the pad mounting surfaces.

Use heat resistance spray to paint them. Then use heat resistant polish to give it a shiney look!

Yep....as the lads above said. Use a VHT paint, you'll get it in any halfords or car shop.

Yeah, never done this before. Is there any links on manuals that might be good to read before doing this.

    Thanks for all the help.

I used Hammerite on my brake calipers before and the colour and finish stayed perfect in everyday use for 3 years, only eventually going off colour when I melted the brakes on track:P

Hamerite? Very nice, and it worked well.
I did it without the varnish/poilsh and it flaked off after about a year. Jst lil bits not the full coating, hardly notice it.
You should do as nisan doctor said. Id clean them with a wire brush too before applying your coat. De-Rust them
