anti reverse latch needed?

    i have a mosfet on the way and it has the active breaking feature. ive just read a review on a $6 mosfet from a link on here and just at the end it mentions about still needing reverse latch because this fet doesnt have AB.
    it seems plauseable but can someone confirm if theres a need for the latch when you have an AB mosfet installed and if there'd be any problems if it wasnt installed

    You will still need your anti-reversal.

    Why would you want to take out your anti reversal latch anyway?
