    Hi

Im living in Munster and im getting married in June 2012. I havent a clue about wedding bands so any suggestions would be appreciated. Its a young crowd that'l be at the wedding so probably something lively with a bit of variety.
    Thanks :P

Well make sure you go and see the band at a pub gig and , if you can , go see them play a wedding. Then you will have an idea of what they can do for you. DO NOT pay silly money either. You should get a decent band ,3/4/5 piece band for in and around €1000. Sometimes the band provide a disco too, and so, it works out cheaper to hire the bands disco. Hope theres some help for you there. What area do you live in? I might know some bands from around your area.

ah Ah come on. In fairness, i could have come on and pimped my own band, but i didnt. Its supposed to be the happiest day of their lives. Dont pimp yourselves unless you are really well able to play a wedding.

Please note that per the charter, phone numbers aren't allowed. Use this site's PM facility instead.

Sounds great. The amount of wedding bands, including the very expensive ones, that are pure muck is just frightening. Love the vocal.

    heres my band op http://www.myspace.com/revolverdublin

We are more than capable and experienced enough to play for any wedding this is what we do so assuming we're not and to post it without even seeing us play is well out order

i just dont undersatnd why you dont just come out and pimp your band. " Check out these guys" instead of "check out my band" .

Does the fact that you are in several bands mean that not one of them is good enough to be playing every weekend? :)

sorry mate, no time for this. i tried to clarify my initial post that you took issue with but you're obviously determined to keep this one going. i'll leave you to it.

@op, how you find the band that's right for your wedding. enjoy your day! :)

Thanks for the advice. My sister had the deerhunters and they were very good but id prefer something different for my own wedding. The wedding coordinator for the hotel we are going to recommended 'celebrations' but il check the ones you mentioned out. Cheers:)
