all I know is that he plays or played football for kerry and has tried to become the Irish Gok Wan.
Does he know his fashion or is he just chancing his arm?

i wonder how he made the break?

Used his football profile to make the break.

Haven't a clue whether he knows his fashion or not, time will tell.

that gear he wore in NYC, would indicate he knows fcuk all about fashion or what looks good on a person.

    He's an actual person?

I thought that was just Dave McSavage in costume having a laugh.

is he the guy who threw the glantoir at the pupil <mod snip>?

he seems to be everywhere you look these days, from poster boy for Gaeilge to fashion icon, though I read his offering in the indo on Saturday and it seemed like a parody. he will probably ave is own fashion show soon.

That man makes me cringe with embarassment, and thats coming from Kerry woman who enjoys gaa and has an appreciation for a good looking man.

He's a baffoon in ill judged clothes.

to be fair to the guy he is not the only one writing meaningless drivel for the indo.

maybe he is who women want- slightly aggressive, manly? , stylish and not gay.

the grey skinny jeans are the height of fashion amongst Dublin junkies.

Great for off the ball, getting suspended three years in a row and using solicitors to fight his case against Croker.

and just became 'fashion expert' - will ye stop.

I've had to edit or delete one or two posts on this as they're a bit sketchy legally speaking. Can people please refrain from making claims about Galvin that cannot be proven, otherwise they will be deleted as potentially libellous.

He is a GAA Gaelic footballer who plays for Kerry. He is a controversial player in that he has been sent off on a number of occasions, the most memorable was when he slapped the notebook out of the referee's hand as he was being booked.

He has courted controversy on and off the football pitch.

He is now desperate to create a celebrity status for himself in order to make money. He resigned as a teacher from a local school.

To this end he is trying to become a fashion icon and to maximise his potential earnings in the process. His recent appearance on the Late Late Show was poor. He couldn't string a single sentence together and kept repeating himself and looking away from Ryan Tubridy and the camera. It was as if he didn't feel very comfortable on live television.

Why the Irish Independent gave him his own fashion column in their weekend magazine is baffling, save the paper wants to attract younger men and women readers as its circulation is falling.

For me I wouldn't cross the road to see the guy, let alone watch him play.

The bit about the glantoir was in the papers about a year ago.

he seems like a bit of a David Beckham. All he needs is Posh Spice type to make him an international fashion icon.

given his track record on the field could he be described as a bit of a thug or just a hard man wannabe?

Unfortunately, great footballers seem to have their brilliance limited to the football pitch.

A great footballer all the same!

Wondering if Galvin will design a new football kit for Kerry ...maybe hotpants, low cut v-neck jerseys, stockings and Ugg boots!

I though his classic line was when he was 'styling' Georgia Salpa a few weeks back and they had a Galvin block quote on the page beside a great pic of GS

"I concentrated on her best fetures, her eyes and her collarbones"

Each to their own I suppose.
