Can someone recommend a decent wireless router, my aunt needs a new one we had a netgear which seemed rubbish and her echolife talktalk one has died. She keeps it upstairs but wants something with good range for downstairs and possibly outside. Is he best getting an N router? If she uses N is it likely her laptop wireless…

If she uses N is it likely her laptop wireless card will be up to date enough to send fast speeds? It's a dell and only about 1 year old.
