"A airplane passenger stole $238,000 during a flight in the Caribbean by sneaking into the cargo hold that was loaded with cash through the bathroom.

The unnamed man complained of feeling unwell at the start of the flight and spent most of it in the bathroom.

He was, in fact, removing panels separating the toilet and the cargo hold, according to reports".

It sounds like an inside job, the guy had knowledge of the cash being transferred and also knew the layout of the plane. I also couldn't see it that difficult to track him down whether they get the cash back or not is another thing.:p

They'll probably make a movie out of it
Maybe, Loo-gold or Potty Luck haha :D:D

On a serious note Wouldn't Atr spec be available on the net (too lazy to google it atm) it does sound like he was tipped off.

Surely he would have to have some basic tools, ie screw drivers, knife etc to remove panels, Would these not have been detected in pre flight security checks?
