Old Style Blues / Jazz - Guitarist looking to jam & form band

    Hi there,

    I'm a 25 year old male guitarist interested in jamming old blues numbers and original material with other blues/jazz fanatics. I live in south Dublin, play fingerstyle blues, jazzy chords and a bit of slide to varying degrees. Think it would be great to have regular sessions exploring old styles, writing new tunes and playing gigs...

    People I like with links to their sounds: C.W. Stoneking, Squirrel Nut Zippers, Allen Toussaint, Josh White, Blind Wille Johnson, Louis Prima, Mahalia Jackson, Artie Shaw, Grant Green, Son House, France Gall, Howlin Holf, Tom Waits, Screamin Jay Hawkins, Louis Armstrong, Billie Holiday.

    ... I'm also well up for hearing new tunes. Interested in jamming with players of double bass / tuba, drums, piano, trumpet, trombone, clarinet, guitar soloists, banjo and singers.

    You don't have to be the most accomplished musician in the world, just a keen interest and love of the music will do! Could start out with covers and take it from there.
