Cheapest way of using DLNA on old school TV

    Hi folks,

Have an old 32" TV that I want to watch media on via DLNA.
Obviously it's not able to connect to the network - it doesn't have a VGA input either.

So, what would be the cheapest way of getting to watch my stuff on this TV. A BlueRay player ? A PS3 ? XBox 360 ?

    Many thanks !

You can pick up a Western Digital TV Live player for about 110 bucks online (or 140 in PC World if you don't want to wait/pay delivery)

That plays pretty much everything, can play directly from a USB drive connected to it and can play from a DLNA server or Windows shared folder so long as you can connect it to your network using wired connection.

    Good suggestion !

I have and old PC or two that can act as a uPnP server, it's just the hooking it up to a TV bit.
Plenty of stuff will play content via USB on a telly - I'd like to use what I've got if possible.

I know you can get VGA to SCART adapters but they're costly
