    i have a 1995 mit pajero, im pretty sure the head gasket has gone the rest of the jeep is in pretty good nick with approx 100000 km on it ,it is commercial swb my question is , is worth fixing or will it cost more to repair /replace head than the jeep is worth.. any opinons or suggestions ?

    In my opinion its worth the repair as they are such a reliable work horse othewise. Head gaskets are the only common problem they suffor with.

    what is the cheapest is could cost to do the head on the pajero ie with secondhand head skimmed etc local mechanic not too pricey on labour probably get the injectors done when head off any ideas lads

    any idea what head repair should cost using secondhand heads if mine is cracked (engine by the way not my own nut) !

    Second hand heads can be hard to get hold of for a pajero.
    The easiest thing to do would be to get the head off yours and have it pressure tested. It will likely not be cracked unless you have boiled it badly.
